Excellent - just what I needed.

I'm assuming that the first output is the Master and the second is the Slave. Is that right?

You've just made it to the top of my priority list - I'll start on this in the morning :D

And if I'd read the information you'd sent I'd have realised that you'd already answered that question lol

How do you set the colour temperature - has Matt included a field in the configuration for the slave device?

I'll look online for the manual - I'm sure it'll tell me :D

....And the strange thing is that the color temperature adjusted there is only reflected when using the slave device. When using the "white" field when setting a rgbw value there is a different color temperature.

Hi Mike,
Not sure where you want the feedback from a Zipato user, so I am posting it here...

I am sucessfully controlling the bulb now :). I am still testing, but this is my experience so far.

I am getting a log entry on Problems turning on the device. Not sure what this means.

Code: Select all

Z-Wave sent "Lys - Bulb2 Hall" set brightness to 66
LED Light Manager Colour of LED LYS - RGBW HALL MANAGER is now Antique White
LED Light Manager Problems turning on the device1579947277
LED Light Manager LED Device LYS - RGBW HALL MANAGER has been updated
  Z-Wave sent "Lys - Bulb Hall" set RGBW to 98, 92, 84, 0

25. okt. 2015, 12.53.48
Z-Wave sent "Lys - Bulb Hall" status request
Z-Wave sent "Lys - Bulb2 Hall" status request
Z-Wave received "Lys - Bulb Hall" status update brightness 66
One thing that could be nice is an update button when setting or selecting the color. To update the color whit out closing the dialog box.

Greate work!

Mike, I have an Aeotec ZW098-A52, but I'm unable to get it to be recognized...

I had it added previously just as a plain "dimmer" device ( 011 - Dimmable Power Switch) which allowed me to turn on/off, and adjust brightness, but not the color. After installing the latest version of LED Device Manager 3.20, I have it configured for both "RGBW and RGB Devices" but it's not recognizing the device.

Below is the log from startup, adding and editing the device, sending the report to the log, and running the device info script that you posted in the forum.

Sorry to inundate you with logs if it is not helpful... I also ran your script on the Aeotec RGBW after adding it as a simple dimmer device, in case this is easier for you:

Thanks... more information is better than no information. I can work this one through for you. Let me look at it in the morning and I'll come back to you!

BradTombaugh wrote:Mike, I have an Aeotec ZW098-A52, but I'm unable to get it to be recognized...

I've talked to Matt/Jay and they've told me that the AEO RGB isn't supported fully yet... There's a post about it here:

http://forums.indigodomo.com/viewtopic. ... 15#p103115

Until they expose the RGBW Channels to indigo I don't have anything to work with so we'll have to wait for them. Sorry - but I promise the moment they support the RGBW feature I'll create a driver for it the same day!

Havard

I'm working on this now. It isn't in tonight's release but it will be in one over the week end. I'll check the error message as well. I think it's probably a small error on selecting the SLAVE v MASTER device - easy to solve :D
