No devices after bridge change

I had a Hue Bridge (Gen. 2) and it was failing. I switched to a Hue Bridge Pro. I did the transfer from the Bridge to the Bridge Pro and the devices (all light bulbs) went well. I could control everything from the Hue app and the Apple Home app. In Indigo 2025.2 nothing was working. It was fixed on the ip from the old bridge. I changed this to the new bridge IP in the Hue Light plugin without improving the situation. I unplugged the old bridge. No change. I removed the old Hue Light plugin and replaced it. No change. I stopped the server and remove the plugin and pref's and there was no change. I deleted all the Hue devices (25 light bulbs) and still no change. I've tried to create new Hue devices and now Indigo does no allow me to create a Hue Device Attribute Controller device. There is no option to make a light bulb device.

Have you set the bridge as a hue pro bridge?
And use a different bridge number for the new bridge

Also please post the indigo log after you reload the hue plugin

Ok there is no bridge defined.

You can do that on config

Enable bridge settings. Select add bridge
Then several fields show up
If there is no bridge available Do manual settings
Enter ip number and I believe set hue pro bridge
Click on confirm or execute

Then at very bottom click save

That SHOULD do it

When I go to Plugin>Hue Lights>Config>Add/Delete/Modify a Bridge>Change the ip number and fill in the IP address from the Hue app for the Bridge Pro the plugin tells me that it is an invalid ip #.

When I enter the new IP address (which I get from the Hue Bridge) and click Confirm the new IP address is erased and this warning box appears.

1. delete that bridge in config
2. add new bridge use a different bridge number eg 1
3. select pro bridge

you tried to change the ip number, but the bridge is not defined yet. select
"add or re-pair a new bridge"

I was able to delete the Hue Bridge Pro and then reinstall it manually using bridge number 1. After a few minutes all my lights were recognized in the bridge and Indigo. They all seem to be working but it will take a few days of testing to be sure.

Your error message should have been: „first setup new bridge“
