so also expericening some strange behavior. Seems devices that are Dimmers are fine... I can easily control them from this app... but other devices that are On/Off, give me a "Server returned HTTP 404" error.

These On / Off devices correctly reflect the state from the Indigo Server, but I can't turn them on or off with the app. Doesn't seem to matter what I have set for Device Type.. Appliance and/ or Auto Detect have the same response.



FWIW, all my devices and Variables show up under Browse, and can access all the Pages.. just can't turn some devices on or off....

Guess I'm still doing something wrong, just not sure what it is.

On my end, a dimmer light and an on/off light operate different, but both operate. A dimmer light, you click the device, you get the popup with the option to power on/off the light or a dimmer slider to adjust. With an on/off device, you control it from the main page(when it's in a room). When you open the device where the device takes up the screen, the device doesn't function.

Once you create rooms and start moving different devices around, you might get a better feel for it.

Since you are getting an error though, I'm not sure what's going on with yours.

Different issues. Not all relay devices working is in TestFlight.
Different behaviour is on the to do list. Both enabling dimmer devices to be toggled from the card on room view and for the relay devices to work when on the device view like dimmers do.

Question on update 2.4(9):
Presence Security Type....
What type of device is acceptable?

I, for example, have several devices that are "On" when I'm home or things that say I'm home: (Shortcuts tells dom.io to turn that device on. Wifi detection of my phone tells a trigger to turn the device on. My code on the front keypad tells a trigger to turn that device on, etc )

Those then toggle a virtual action device (pseudoRelay) called "Geo Bill Home" to either "True" or "False": (1 of these for everyone in the house)

Can I force the app to accept that as a "Person" or is there a list of specific device types that dom.io is looking for?

Click and hold on the device in Browse and change type to security. Then in security you can change to Presence (or Motion etc).

Still didn't work for me. I posted a bug on git hub with the steps I took to troubleshoot and find a work-around. (I can add other things as presence detectors, but I can't add a virtual on/off device)
