Is there still a "setup code" like the older plugin?

back story: earlier today I was trying to rename a indigo device in hopes I wouldn't need to republish, that didn't work and the Apple home device failed to respond anymore, so I deleted the device (just 1 of the 40) from the home app. Big mistake in retrospect, All the devices in the home app disappeared.
I eventually deleted the entire home from the Home app and tried to reconnect the bridge.
Ive been troubleshooting for the past 5 hours, and every time I try to discover the bridge using the QR Code, it fails with (accessory not found)
Been through all 3 of the Xcode troubleshooting tools in the plugin config sheet. no trouble found naturally , it's been working for years.

So, if I open up the home app to a new "Home" and Add accessory > More options The HomkitLink Bridge is shown as an icon (next to the two HomePods) . If I select the bridge It gives me the "uncertified accessory" prompt ... and when I "add anyway" it prompts for the setup code .

Where's this code located ?

iPhone and iPad both run Tahoe, Indigo server is Sequoia , latest indigo release and plugin.

The QR code includes the code - so ideally this is the method that should be used.

Make sure you are not reusing a browser QR code from earlier - new code for each bridge. Reopen the details.

Otherwise:

Also changing the name in indigo should not matter.
Nor deleting the device in Home - unless delete the whole bridge.
Seems like somehow you home install got into a bad state.

I just got it (the discovery) working by filling in the "advertised interfaces" and the "Server IP address" fields at the bottom of the plugin configuration page, and it discovered it with the QR code , no problem .... is that a head scratcher, or what?

Those can be blank - unless multiple networks, LAN/wifi/VPN etc.

Check on latest version.

And can check troubleshooting 1,2,3 menu items
