Plug-in Devices in Device List?

I've recently added a weather station to my setup and I'm using the WeatherSnoop plug-in to get the data into Indigo. I noticed, however, that the "Weather Device" I've added to my setup as a plug-in is not visible in my list of devices, when viewed remotely. In fact, I don't see any plug-in devices in that list. Is there something I need to enable to make them show up in the device list, besides on the local client?

Indigo doesn't show custom plugin devices for a couple of reasons: first, we don't know how to create control UIs for custom devices because we don't know how to control custom devices. Second, remote clients don't know how to show custom device states (which is the only reason we'd show them in the list) yet - that's going to require an Indigo Touch release and we aren't yet ready to tackle that (we'll also want to roll in some other features as well).

The solution is to create a control page with the appropriate controls and states to deal with the device (or add it to your existing control pages). Since using plugins requires that you have Indigo Pro then you also have the ability to create those pages yourself and taylor the control interface to your specific needs.

Thanks, Jay. That makes sense. I did create a basic control page so I could view my weather stuff, but it stopped updating some time last night. That's a separate issue for me to track down when I get home again.
