Timer/Warnings for windows?

When using the Virtual Garage Door plugin i can get an “obstructed” warning if certain criteria is met. I’m wondering if this could be partially replicated with motorised windows? At preset I have motors on some of my windows along with contact sensors to detect if they’re open or not.

What I would like would be an option in HomeKitLink Siri to specify the motor (a dimmer in indigo), the contact sensors, and the time in seconds to open/close the window. If in that time the contact sensor doesn’t change status to the expected state within the specified time then it’d display the obstruction warning.

Does this seem viable?
