Interaction with a sprinkler valve controller. the Shim device (an On/Off Switch) can now turn a valve on and off. However, at the moment, the on payload contains a fixed value for the duration. How can I set that up to use a variable, or maybe even a dimmer (slider) control where 0-100 in in minutes.

Any idea welcomed.

File an enhancement request to support variable substitution in the action payload fields. I probably should have done that from the beginning.
