Thanks for posting this report. It seems somewhat likely that if the Silicon Labs driver is having an issue, then anyone using a Z-Stick Series 2 or the GoControl HUSBZB-1 may also have issues. Another reinforcement that upgrading to betas for important Macs is not a good idea...

Also on that note I know a few people have had service issues at the Genius Bar when running betas, even if they were registered developers!

I've posted an update to the post on Catalina. It appears the recently released version of the Silicon Labs driver does work now. So, progress.
