I was amazed when I saw that posted on other homekit forums and the amount of people that were unaware of it! I’m hoping apple adds more icons for iOS 12.. I’d like something for ambient lights and flood lights!

Yes I found that yesterday and changed a few lights to lamps but was a bit disappointed it was very limited in styles (no bedside light, could have used a cut down tall lamp) and only lights...as you say lets hope IOS 12 adds to them.durosity wrote:I was amazed when I saw that posted on other homekit forums and the amount of people that were unaware of it! Yeah. I’m also hoping for a few more such as curtains instead of blinds..
Actually scratch that.. I’m hoping for a lot more in the way of improvements in iOS 12. Rumour is this is going to be mostly a maintenance release, but I suspect that they’re going to add a fair few improvements to homekit and more device types as they’re major revenue generators for Apple.
