[SOLVED]Airfoil not able to connect to any speakers

This forum is where we've moved the discussions of the original Airfoil plugin that shipped with Indigo 5/6 (and is now open source). You may continue to ask questions in this subforum, just make sure that it's not about the new Airfoil Pro plugin that shipped with Indigo 7 (ask those questions below).

Another user reported this problem and I realized I never posted the result: Mac OS X (later versions) don't like multiple copies of the same app on your hard drive(s). This especially kills AppleScript because it needs to target an app and it gets really confused when there are multiples. So the solution is to look around your hard drive for other copies of Airfoil and delete them.
