I can't seem to find the RS-232/IP command code definitions for the VSX-2021, even though Pioneer's product description says that it is compatible with RS-232 control commands. Unlike the US web site, Pioneer's European web site doesn't seem to have the same "custom integration" section which provides those specification documents. Google was little help as well. I may not be looking in the right place though. If you're able to find some kind of document that describes the commands recognized by the 2021, I can get started on adding that model.

Just got my VSX-1123-K today. Speakers are on the way, will test the plugin once they come in, but just looking for an early read - do you think this will work with my new receiver?

Hi Phil.

I'm betting it will, but I can't say for sure since Pioneer hasn't posted the RS-232/IP code information for that model yet. If it's like the VSX-1122-K, it will (though I haven't programmed any zone 3 support for any receiver yet). I get my Pioneer receiver communications specs from this Pioneer page. So, until Pioneer posts the specifics for that model, the only way to find out if it works is to test it. Sorry I couldn't be more definitive.

I've not tested the plugin completely, but it does seem to work with the VSX-1123-K. It connects, and will turn on and off. Haven't checked any other functions.

Hi Nathan, thank you for the effort in creating an excellent and free plugin.

Just wanted to confirm I have been able to use this successfully in Indigo 6 with my VSX-1120-K configured as a VSX-1021-K. So far I've only created action groups that power on/off, set volume and set inputs.
