No. Perceptive Automation includes a set of NOAA weather icons in the standard Indigo installation. You can use those same icons with NOAA Weather Plus. There are some weather conditions that are missing in that icon set. For those, I just searched Google for "noaa weather icons". The first result is NOAA's page containing all their icons. You'll have to convert them from their default JPEG format to PNG and place them in the same folder as the Indigo included icons. Luckily, there don't seem to be a whole bunch of missing ones.

I'm surprised there are any missing - it doesn't look like there've been updates since we released Indigo 5. In any event, I'll make sure that we have the current full set for Indigo 6 GM.

Cool. The only ones I've noticed missing (certainly not a comprehensive list) are some of the percent chance of precipitation icons (such as http://forecast.weather.gov/images/wtf/ ... shra50.png). There are probably others as well though.

I'm running indigo 6. Maybe I'm too snobby, but I was wanting to get some better looking art to show the conditions

Do you have or know of a list of possible conditions that are forecast? I'm thinking if I name my images based on the condition rather than the icon, I'll have to have less images.

I have some stock images similar to these for some various conditions already, I just don't want to have to go through and rename them all and add in percentages for precipitation. I've got precip chance as a stand alone text below it. It makes the control page a little more complicated obviously, but I prefer this cleaner look.

Haha. Yea, the NOAA-provided icons aren't particularly stylish. I can understand preferring a more refined look. A list of possible weather conditions can be found at http://w1.weather.gov/xml/current_obs/weather.php. There aren't as many conditions as there are icons, but there are quite a large number of conditions. However, depending on your region, you probably won't have to create icons for all of those conditions as you're not likely to encounter them all.

Awesome... thanks. I was poking around on there and didn't see this. Unfortunately I'll likely only be able to skip smoke, dust and funnel clouds... pretty much anything else could happen where we live. Maybe I'll share the pile when I'm done so others don't have to do a bunch of work. Thanks for the awesome plugin... I've finally whittled down to just this plugin from using the 4 I had running before.

After looking back over the list... I think I may be further ahead using the icons state instead :/. Maybe I'll be able to run the state into a variable and whack the suffix for percentage precip... that should help cut down the number of files I'll have to manage.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Looks like that is where I got the ones I have now orginally, but there seem to be a few I didn't have.

Beautiful weather forecasting! It would be nice to be able to tap into that level of detail for data. I have the dark sky app for my iphone and it is pretty darn accurate for rain, less for snow but that I think is mostly due to the lake effect.
