Using an RFID Tag's Magnetic Sensor to Monitor Garage Door

Tip: You can use the integral reed switch of most of our RFID Tags as a sensor with Indigo. Here we show an image of a TGP-A tag, being used to monitor the postion of the garage door as a condition, because we only want the the trigger "Open Garage Door" to fire when the SUV is detected and then transfer a relay to control the garage door opener, only if the garage door is closed. We don't want to transfer the relay if the garage door is already open.
