Anyone use the 2nd gen Nest thermostat in cool mode yet

I know the 2nd gen Nest came out recently but some live in warmer climates and might have used it in the cool mode. How well did it regulate? I was looking around and I found some comments on the hysteresis used for turn ON/OFF for the 1st gen and they said it was a few degrees or so. They even sent message to Nest and they replied back that it was purposely put in the software to save energy, to keep it off a little longer before it would turn back on. To me it should be comfortable. They said it was a little annoying. I realize its nice to save energy but if it sacrifices too much for comfort I'm not interested. There is a limit to that. The heat mode seems to work OK.

Also I have two 2nd gen nests for about a week or so and I have had "?" displayed on one of the thermostats on the Nest web page 2 times already. This was for about 3 hours for one of the times. The other Nest was OK. They say it is a communication problem probably in the wifi at home for that particular one. I just changed it to use another router (I have 5 operating at in my house) and I'll see if it solves it. My nearest neighbor is over 500 feet away so I don't think it was caused by that. Anyone else have this happen often?

I've read reviews and there are a lot of negatives but it seems like it was for the 1st gen since the 2nd gen was only out a short time.

I'm planning on getting 3 more of these and since they are quite costly I'd like to have a better feeling about them.
