Device discovery different VLAN Unifi?

I think everything is working fine on seperate VLANs. Indigo is on VLAN 1, but all kid devices (ROKU) are on VLAN 3. If I add a device with IP address, I think I have full normal control and visibility. My question, does anyone have a similar setup using Unifi and did you put in a special firewall rule in there so Indigo on one VLAN can see your Roku on another VLAN?

Fixing this might help me out in other areas... like with the Roku remote app.

There's a setting in the Unifi Network setup to forward mDNS traffic. Make sure that's enabled. For both VLANS.

I already had that setting on. Everything works and indigo can see my roku devices on other VLANs, (when added by IP). It's only the option to add discovered Roku devices that comes up blank. (No devices discovered)

I'm not going to waste too much time on this... it looks like this is a common issue with Roku and Unifi.

A lot of other google results came to the same conclusion.

I may (at some point), migrate a lot of my stuff back onto one VLAN. I originally lumped all the kid stuff on one kid VLAN so I could pause the entire network. It was actually easier (and allowed more precise control), to just create firewall rules per kid with their individual devices assigned to that rule and just toggle them individually.
