Hue api v1 --> api v2

Asked Hue Dev about the new Hue contact sensor "why is it not supported in api v1"?
finally after 2 months I got an answer:
"the V1 API has been deprecated and will not support any new devices or features. Everything will be on the V2 API, which is the only one currently under active support."

So anything new will require the Pro bridge - the only one that supports API V2

Just for completeness:
API versions: V1 and V2
Bridge types: V1(2012), V2 (2015), Pro (2025)

Most of you likely use the V2 bridge with API V1.

The indigo Hue plugin supports
- bridge V2 with API V1
- pro bridge with API V2
- migrating bridge V2 to a pro Bridge from the indigo side: manage device ids to avoid duplicate devices
