Ecobee on two sites - implementation instructions needed

It's my understanding that I need to use a single ecobee account for multiple homes with one Indigo app installed for both locations. Maybe I'm mistaken?
I've deleted the Ecobee account for the second home. To add a thermostat, I need an Ecobee account. I am unable to enter my first home Ecobee account number as that field is disabled.
The thermostat for the second home is attached to the Ecobee account for my main home.
How do I proceed? Is there documentation for this issue?

Ecobee has no concept of homes or locations. It has thermostat (and sensor) devices associated with a specific Ecobee account. That's it. You can have all thermostats for all locations on one account, or you can have multiple accounts (if you have multiple email addresses)with the devices split up between them.

Within Indigo, you need an Ecobee Account device for each account, and then thermostats will be associated with that Account. When you go to create Thermostat devices, you need to pick an Account device to associate them with.
