Weird comm issue out of the blue...

After everything has been working correctly for many, many months tonight Siri started responding with: "Sorry some accessories did not respond".
In Indigo I can control devices directly with no issues. When controlling them from Indigo, the status is updated in the Home app. If I try to control it from the Home app (I.E. turning a light on or off) the slider just returns to its existing position and the device state doesn't change. Looking at the Indigo Event Log I never see any commands coming in from the Home app.

Indigo Server runs on Intel Mac, V 14.7.7. Also see the same behavior on M4 Air, V 15.7.1
Indigo version: 2024.1
Plugin version: 6.61

Tried reloading plugin, restart the Mac, no change in behavior.
This is a pretty static production enviornment so I stumped why a sudden new issue.

Unfortunately that sounds like a very Apple side issue - particularly commands being reflected out into Home - but no control.

Given the lack of change - probably relates to something up with Apple Home ecosystem, or particularly whatever Hub you are running.

Pretty sure okay on OS26 for Home Pod as Hub and AppleTVs… checking I’m on OS26 for all (Home Pods and AppleTV)… just checked - yes - Home Pods is my current Hub and running OS26.

Check the Home settings, and particularly what the Hub currently is - restart or select something else. Failing that may need to sign out of Hub icloud account altogether and sign back in…

Just to close this out. Upgraded Apple TV to OS 26 and after about 10 minutes everything started working correctly.. It also cleared a red notification dot in the Home app that didn't point to any specific device in the app.
