Showing Temp AND humidity from my Insteon Thermostats

I am happy using HKL Siri, but I've noticed that my thermostats (2441TH) can only display temperature OR humidity in HK, but not both.

Is there a setting I'm missing to get them to display both? They display both well in Indigo.

Hi

If I’m not mistaken in Home App they are seperate sensors.

So given the rule is One Indigo device == One Home App device.

You can make them either Temp or Humidity (although will be need to be careful with Humidity that correct device state is selected in HKLS)

For both temperature and humidity from one device - you need 2 indigo devices.

So Use Masquerade plugin, or others to duplicate you device (or indeed a 2nd Insteon device if possible) and publish that.

Thanks, Glen - great suggestion! I got the device published with the Masquerade plugin, and it shows in Indigo. However, when I publish it with HKL, I don't see it in HK on my iPhone. I'm sure it's active, as I see it under the "Show Device Publications" list.

Since I've never used Masquerade before, is there a trick to getting it published in HKL?

If it’s published in HKLS and that is successful - should just be there. Although the issue with masquerade and non indigo standard devices are you may need to select the correct state to use with the correct formatting (normal number minus the %)

Sometimes the sensors are hard to find?
If you go to the HKLS bridge device it is published to - you should be able to see the humidity device

You're right again! I had to go to the bridge and find it. I expected it to show up like a thermostat, so I was looking for that. It shows up under the Climate filter as a Sensor, which, umm, yeah, it is.

Many thanks for your help on this. Humidity is something I've been wanting out of HK for a long time. In the Northeastern US - it's a necessity.
