Lifix & UniFi

I've was using some Lifx fixtures with a UniFi AP several years ago, but kept running into some connectivity issues.... I ended up changing some WiFi hardware, and everything is fine.

But I'm now looking to upgrade some WiFi stuff and am looking at UniFi again. Just curious if UniFi AP's now play well with some of the older Lifx lights?

There are a number of options in the UniFi controller software for better compatibility with IoT devices.

So I'll spare you my WiFi history, but was on UniFi for awhile, then switched to something else, but am back on Unifi. The UniFi server interface has gone thru a lot of changes, and finding the right way to set up a network for IoT was easy. Got all 3 of my Lifx moved over(never as smooth as it should be, IMHO), but so far all is well.
