Colour temperature bulbs

Hi,

Thank you for creating such a great plugin!

However, I’m having some trouble controlling the colour temperature of Hue Ambiance bulbs (connected to Indigo via the Hue Lights plugin). While they work perfectly in Indigo, they appear as dimmable lights in HomeKit, with no option to adjust the colour temperature. Am I missing something?

(Connecting the lights directly from Hue to HomeKit isn’t a good option for me, as I only want certain lights to be exposed to HomeKit.)

I don’t believe colour temperature alone (without RGB support) is a supported configuration either in Indigo (actually it might be…) but don’t believe HKLS supports this.

eg. either RGB bulbs - with colour temp as well, or Dim bulbs dimming without modifying the colour temperature.

You could try to force one of your devices in the HKLS device to be RGB type bulbs - this would likely need the device if already published to Home, to be unpublished from HomeKitLink, and then re-add it as this type. Using the Show all Options if not selectable initally.

Obviously it wouldn’t support the RGB commands - but possible if issuing color temp changes these would work.
