I disabled the plugin for an hour, then tried again and still the same. I guess I'll try it tomorrow.

Never seen that. Check to make sure you don't have the refresh set too low.

Hello. Strangely after installing pip3.10 install git+https://github.com/arraylabs/pymyq.git@ ... l/188/head yesterday MyQ openers worked with your latest plugin. Today upgraded to latest version of indigo and the garage doors do not work. Uninstalled pymq again and ran the above command and no go. Perhaps there is a later more recent pull release to the pymyq library? Seems without a proper API it's a game of cat and mouse. Again thanks for all your efforts

I just re-enabled it today, the first log message that came out was "too many requests". I checked the settings and it looks like the update frequency is set to 10. I just disabled the plugin again, this time I'll wait 24 hours and try again. I wonder if it means too many requests, or too many requests from me. I don't see how the latter is possible.

I’ll have to check the repo for the library and see if anyone else is reporting this.

From the Home Assistant integration repo:

The latest batch of 429 errors are from the https://partner-identity.myq-cloud.com/ ... /authorize endpoint and appear to be Cloudflare anti-bot challenges, which require cookies and javascript to get past. It might be necessary to kick out to a browser to get past these.

Yeah, you can't go directly to the URL. It needs a redirect or parameters from the start of the auth process. I'm seriously doubting this will ever get fixed in a way that works for a plugin.

I upgraded to MyQ plugin 2022.0.4, then

$ pip3 install pymyq==3.1.6

so now it loads and runs, but I am still getting the same error as everyone else on this thread.

Yeah, 3.1.6. doesn't fix the 429 error. If they're now using Cloudflare to prevent bots, this library (and plugin) might be dead to the world.

However, I ran into this device today: https://paulwieland.github.io/ratgdo/

Basically, it's a small circuit board you wire up to your opener panel (where the learn button is) and it makes the opener MQTT compatible. Which also eliminates the cloud dependence of the current MyQ plugin. For $30 I might give it a try. I guess I would need one for each door.

I'm getting same issue as others in this thread. If I order the ratgdo device you noted, would it take the place of the MyQ-301 or is this in addition to the MyQ-301?

If you still want to use the MyQ app, you need the gateway device. The ratgdo does not replace it.

Note that the ratgdo is backordered, and even after I get mine I'm not sure when I'll be able to install or test it. And I do not have a good way to get power to it where my door control are, so it might be a total bust.

OK, I did like you said, I Executed the Terminal Commands; &, just like I was worried about, I am now getting this NEW Error:

Any NEW Ideas?
