Moving Shortcuts into a New Folder

Post by DaveL17 »

In the Shortcuts app for macOS, you may find that you can't drag an existing shortcut to a new (empty) Shortcuts Folder. This is a bug in the Shortcuts app. To get around this limitation, create a new shortcut into the new folder and name it something like 'temp' -- it doesn't need to actually do anything. You should now be able to drag an existing shortcut into the folder. Once that's done, you can delete your 'temp' shortcut.
I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.

Also note that drag 'n drop works on iOS and iPadOS.
