Tips for Sharing Shortcuts

If you choose to share your shortcuts with others,

• make sure you don't include sensitive information in the shortcut actions -- like your Indigo Reflector name or API Key.
• consider using "Import Questions" which allow users to answer a series of questions to provide information such as an API Key. This prevents users from having to edit the shortcut manually. Import questions can be found in the right-side pane of the shortcut editor window -- click the ⓘ button and go to the Setup tab. When sharing, Fields linked to import questions will be cleared when the shortcut is shared.
• ZIP the shortcut before sharing. If uploading your shortcut to the Indigo File Library, a ZIP file is required.
