I’m wondering if anyone has played with one of these yet.
Basically a 4” screen that mounts in an electrical back box powered by Android.
I’m wondering if domopad could work on it to show small dashboards and have simple control where wall mounting tablets is not possible or desired.

Sadly the Android version doesn’t have relays so can’t directly replace a wired switch.
The non pro can but is ESP not android but can be flashed.

The Tuya US and EU equivalent is also android and also no relays (think is rebranded) but the Asian version does.

If we could replace a light switch with a screen that would be pretty neat.

Sonoff have relay based smart switch that can sit alongside to replace an existing switch which could be interesting but sadly only am supply in black.

I also seen these recently and had considered posting about them. Look interesting.
Also looks like Shelly have a single switch version on the way next month.

Interesting. First look I’d say it’s another rebadged one with own firmware but lack of neutral implies it’s not.

“Controls every device in the room”.
Not if the single back box you are installing into has 2 circuits in it and it only has one relay.
rules out several locations I’d love to use it in.

Also I’m guessing it will only control Shelly devices at least until Matter is supported?

In which case it will be a bit restricted in use cases.
