try v 1.8.64
id id the initialization of heads wrong, after it exists it doe not do that part anymore, only the first time you load it.

Excellent news. Thanks for the beta update and all the work that have gone into bringing it to light.
I have just tried 1.7.65 and all my "Hue" and "3A Smart Home DE" branded devices continue to work.

The link to 1.8.64 on GitHub downloads and installs OK but it identifies as v 1.7.65 and doesn't appear to pick up any new light controllers that weren't in 1.7.65

I removed the Preference file and tried pairing again. Then I got the following on the Indigo Log:

One thing that might be relevant in my current scenario is that my Hue Bridge is not actually a Hue Bridge. It's a Phoscon Conbee II, which provides an almost 1:1 API when compared to the Hue API.

First I tried lights which gave me an error, then I chose Sensors, then Groups, then Light again. The log above was taken after the 3 last choices.

the default used should be hub0 not hub1

i believe this is what's happening:
it mixes up hub0 and hub1; hub 1 is defined, but hub0 is used in some areas.

so please in config set hub0 correct ip number and delete hub1

I could replicate the error: yes it is the missing hub#0,

As there is no hub defined initially all devices are assigned to hub # 0 when converting from 1.7 to 1.8 to get the plugin going.

But in your instance hub 1 is active and hub0 not, don't know why

to fix: define hub0 in config, then delete hub1 in config

that should take care of most issues.

I need to think about how to handle this automatically.
