12/16/2020 - MyQ Broken again?

Post by FlyingDiver »

My system can't connect to the MyQ servers, and there's a bunch of traffic on the GitHub repository that the plugin is based on. I'm keeping an eye on it, and will update the plugin when/if a solution is found.

And it's fixed again. Release 7.5.2 on the plugin store.

As always, thanks for your diligence. Less than 2 hours from problem identification to published fix. Setting the bar kinda high there Joe.

Is there something going on with the API again? Been working flawlessly until a couple of days ago. I think I have the latest plug-in 7.5.3.

Yes, it breaks regularly. I think there's an update to the underlying library in the works. I should be able to update the plugin soon.

Great! This last one lasted awhile going by the date of my previous post, 12/20. I don't think mine has been out since then.

MyQ is not working for me. I am using MacOS 11.6 and 7.7.1 of the plugin. If I turn on debugging I get the following:

Has the plugin been working? Mine still hasn't worked since my 8/26 post. I'm running v7.5.3 which is still the latest shown in the plugin store.

Not sure of exact date but plugin was working in the Spring with 7.5.3. I was away for the summer and just tried it again this month. Have not been able to get it working.

I just found the github releases page which had 7.7.1 on it. 7.5.3 from the plugin store was released 1/6/21 so it's really old. I just installed 7.7.1 so I'll see what that does. Sounds like it may not be functional anymore. I miss MyQ not working, I've got it linked to my mailbox. When you open the mail box (under certain conditions) it opens the garage door. Great for when I'm coming in from running. Now I have to walk all the way up to the door and punch in a code. Oh the inconvenience!!! :-) I'd love to get it going again.

Make sure your configuration for the plugin is correct, then turn on detailed debugging and restart the plugin.
