Toggling Server Action from Lock to Unlock

I installed the MyQ plugin and it works just fine - - as long as you only want the
garage door to “Unlock” (Open) or “Lock” (close). I cannot find anything with the plugin to toggle between lock and unlock states. I tried a couple of “if-else” Python codes in the “Server Action “ field on the Control Page but none worked.

As a temporary kludge, I dropped 2 garage door
Controls onto the Control Page with one control set to perform an “Open Door “ MyQ Action and the second garage door control to a “Close Door” action.

Obviously, this is an unsatisfactory way to open and close the Chamberlain garage door opener.

How can I get the MyQ plugin actions to toggle between “open” and “close”.

If you want help figuring out how to do it in Indigo without a built-in toggle command, that's different.

Doing it with a Python script is possible. Is that what you already tried? Post what you tried and we can help. The tricky part will be deciding what to do with all the states that aren't open or closed.

Is that a lock? No idea, never tried one. But I would guess that it would probably work. The door opener is treated like a lock anyway.

If you get one, and it doesn't work, there's a menu item for the MyQ plugin called "Write MyQ Data to Log". Post that and I'll see if it can be made to work.

It is a door lock. Not garage door. See https://www.myq.com/smart-lock This page says it is a myQ device, but on Amazon it doesn't mention myQ. Its a branding fiasco. Yale, Liftmaster, Assure, myQ. I will call them tomorrow and get some clarification. Thanks for your offer of support.
