I just purchased a number of LIFX BR30 light bulbs. Some of the bulbs support the v3.6 firmware. Some of them only support the v2.77 firmware. Those that support v3.6 are not detected by the LIFX v5.1..1 plug in.
Are there any ideas on how to get around this until they are supported by the plug in?

Googling, it looks like some users of LIFX lamps are reporting some issues with the latest firmware 3.5 /3.6 with regard to Homekit.
I have raised an issue with the LIFXLAN Library project which the LIFX plugin uses.
Unfortunately, I haven't got any bulbs with the latest firmware.

Thanks for your response. Just to be clear, these bulbs are recognized by Homekit. They are not recognized by Indigo (version 7.4). It appears that if I were able to roll the bulb firmware back to version 2.77, then Indigo would recognize them.

Looks like LIFX haven't updated their documentation yet which is why they aren't known about.
I will then do a further mod to flag up devices that aren't yet in the LIFXLAN Library internal product pages (based on the LIFX documentation)
So if this happens in the future then it should be able to fixed faster.
