Cant install HKB

I never get beyond the very first step in the installation process by double clicking on EPS HomeKit Bridge.IndigoPlugin dated 18 July 2018. I do this on my Mac (the server, running El Capitan, Indigo 7.4. The small pop-up saying checking content freezes and that is it. Everything else is running smoothly. Installation of for instance latest Hue Plugin also went smooth. Any ideas?
