Cant add new devices

I just updated to latest version, my rotary encoder wasn't registering responses so I attempted to delete and re add. Literally the only option for a new device was an encoder, but could not edit the device at all IE assign it a GPIO. I've performed restarts of the whole server and pibeacon itself but nothing helps. Any ideas?

Jumped the gun. Restart of whole computer fixed the issue.
