Possible to use this with DoorBird?

So my DoorBird system has the ability to make HTTP calls and also wiring for NO/NC to trigger things like gates and door locks. I was wondering if I could use either of these two with this plugin to drive notifications and actions, perhaps even wiring the NC/NO to the input/output of the Pi.

So I came up with something that may help you too. In doorbird you can use http calls. So you could do an http call over to Indigo, but what I did is an http call to IFTT using channel maker. My http call invokes an IFTT recipe which plays a door bell sound on my Sonos.

You can already do this (play a doorbell sound)with the DoorBird plugin, and Sonos without needing IFTT, trigger on the doorbell and an action to play a local file using the sonos plugin. I am not sure I understand the use case on the relay can be triggered by the app, when you are happy to open the door. DoorBird can then notify that the relay is energised so no need for the PI. Not sure if this still works, but I had it working some time ago prior to the DoorBird plugin, I just had no need for it.

I just took another look and the old “dooropen” functionality was deprecated before support was added to the new UDP version of the API, so currently not possible to be notified that the relay has been energised by an app user or the API. It used to be possible that the user pressing the door open button could trigger an action in Indigo, now it is only possible to initiate an open event.
