after moving to new machine pibeacon not working

Hi @ all,

after moving from my Mac mini to Mac Pro I cannot start pibeacon.

I tried so far to configure everything new, did downgrades to the last 3 versions, but that didn't solve the problem.
When I start the plugin I get this error

this looks as if something is not initialized. if it is not it should do it automatically.. (important is only the first error message everything is a result of that )

anyway, did you copy the piBeacon directory to the new MAC?
could you post the files RPIconfig and beacons?

thank you for your quick reply.
I copied only the Perceptive Automation directory and I don´t find the rpiconfig and beacons files.
Maybe they are missing?

Is it possible to start completely new and reset everything?

If you still have that directory just copy it.
That should get things back to normal

Starting with a mixed bag is difficult.

To stayer from scratch:

Stop pibeacon
Delete all pibeacon devices variables etc
Stop indigo server
Delete the pibeacon prefs file in the indigo server directory.
Start indigo server
Start pibeacon


Again if you have the ~/indigo/pibeacon directory you can keep all defs etc.

Recovered from old Mac the Pibeacon Directory and copied it to the new Mac.
After a restart everything is working fine.
