I don't suppose there's any way to push one of these at the tablet, is there? Short of Tasker or some such.

Not yet, it is on the list of enhancements I would like to make -- such as "Open the Ring App when the doorbell rings".

Look for the app in Google Play called "Package Name Viewer". It's a simple app that shows the app and package name of everything installed.
