Request for digest auth on video feed devices

Two of my cameras just got updated firmware, and with it comes the requirement for digest authentication. They claim basic auth should still work, but it doesn't, and the internet concurs. Could we have a way to specify credentials + auth type on the Video Feed URL config popup?
