What output did you get with that pip command? You might have to do this instead:

Oh, I see what happened. The patched version of the library I referenced above has been deleted, and pip now installs version 3.1.7 of the library, which the plugin doesn't like.

I'll have to push a new version of the plugin.

Well, that's not going to work. The 3.1.7 release does not have the 401 error fix in it. And nothing has fixes for the 429 error.
