There is acompany on ebay that repairs Insteon devices, its usually just the caps going bad.

I have never used them, but I have replaced the caps in a Powerlinc and it came back to life. :D

Might be worth it to reach out to them.

If that fails the Rainmachine is a good standalone controller and there is a plugin in the store.

yes, i'm going to crack it open and see if i can quickly fix it, if it's obv, like a burnt cap, then great, if not i'm just gonna replace the unit with something new. a big factor is my time, which i just don't have any, to mess with this stuff anymore. it works so well until... it doesn't. :D

by way of update - found a used ezflora via a reddit user, but that's now in the cupboard as i switched to rachio and will not go back. very smooth, easy and reliable. there's even a setting that lessens water hammer. :D
