Blink Auth Error

Post by steve-indigo »

I downloaded, installed, and configured the Blink plugin but continue to get errors about authentication/authorization.

I received multiple text auth keys and updated it in the plug-in and then restarted the plug-in but it seems to still not be working.

See the error in the event log below:

Code: Select all

Blink Error Error in plugin execution startup:

File "plugin.py", line 75, in startup
File "plugin.py", line 151, in connect
  File "/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 2023.2/Plugins/Blink.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/blinkpy/auth.py", line 240, in send_auth_key
  File "/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 2023.2/Plugins/Blink.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/blinkpy/api.py", line 54, in request_verify
type: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'base_url'

Any suggestions on how to get this working? Does this plug-in still work?

Blink have changed their authorisation method. If I can find a way around it I’ll fix the plugin and issue an update, but it’ll be a while I’m afraid.
