Help - total newbie

I purchased a couple of Shelly RGBW2's and I'm not sure where to start.

I've downloaded the plugin and the MQTT connector plugin. I'm not really clear on where to start or what the correct settings are for setting up a broker, etc.

I've looked at the WIKI's and I feel like I'm missing critical steps. Can someone point me in the correct direction?
