macOS focus modes

This forum is a place to post questions about doing things that aren't necessarily Indigo specific (though they could be). For instance:
  • How do I automate the following HTTP POST?
  • How can I restart my router periodically?
  • How can I do whole house audio?

macOS focus modes

Post by durosity »

(Apologies if this isn't the right forum.. I was pondering the best option and decided this was the closest!)

Has anyone been able to successfully integrate focus modes into Indigo? I've currently got it setup using HomeKitLinkSiri and an automation in Shortcuts to turn certain virtual devices in Indigo on or off depending on if that focus mode is active or not, but it's a bit janky and doesn't always update (especially if at the point its changing the internet connection isn't available, like the moment a car is disconnecting from CarPlay and re-connecting to the house wifi). So I'm just wondering if anyone has found a way of reading in the current status on macOS which in my setup I've got set to mirror my iPhone and always seems to be accurate...

it just seems like a more sensible way to get that information into Indigo. :D
Computer says no.
