Controlling the iKettle

Python scripts to do various things. These would be scripts that talk directly with Indigo (use indigo.* methods).

has someone tried to control the Ikettle 3.0? No contact when I try port 2000/2081

The iKettle 2.0 worked differently to the 1, so I’d image the 3.0 is the same. If it works the same way as the iKettle 2 then you might be able to use the cynical network plugin and the information listed here for hex commands to work (it worked for me quite well until I ditched it for a AppKettle). Or the easier route.. setup iFTTT and setup indigo to send an email to trigger a command there to turn it on. Not that I approve of having to use the cloud for something that should be a local event.
