CMEventTimer: :SpendTime () caught an exception

CMEventTimer: :SpendTime () caught an exception

I am running a comically old version on indigo. Version 1.5.4. Recently(?) the log has been filling up with these entries, about once every 2 seconds:
CMEventTimer: :SpendTime () caught an exception
It throws the error regardless of wether or not the USB powerlinc 1132U is connected.

Does anyone have an idea of what may be causing this? Is it the G4 tower that Indigo is running on? Or is this just too old to even think about fixing.

That's a very low-level error, I suspect there's an OS problem. But as it's super old, that's about as far as I'd care to guess.
