Launch Indigo on cold start before login?

Here is the scenario:
Power outage, running on UPS.
As the UPS runs out of juice it calls for a normal shut down and the mac powers off.
Power comes back on, computer reboots automatically but no one is around to log in.
Can Indigo be started automatically on the reboot before their is a user login?

Running OS X 10.11.6 on PowerMac with Indigo 7.1

No. I have mine set to automatically login so this way Indigo is running.

Re: Launch Indigo on cold start before login?

From the FAQ:

http://www.indigodomo.com/support.html#faq

Is it possible to run the Indigo Server as a daemon before any users are logged in?
As detailed on the online forum, it is possible to run the Indigo Server before any OS X user account is logged in. There are limitations, however, to launching Indigo Server in this fashion. For example, Z-Wave and plugin support will be disabled. Note also that this is an unsupported configuration.

A better (and supported) option is to setup a separate user account that runs Indigo. Then, with fast user switching, you can switch between individual user accounts while keeping the Indigo-specific account (and Indigo Server) running in the background.

If you could do without Z-wave or Plugins, then yes you can have Indigo start before a login. If you need either of those, then no, you would need to use automatic login.
