[ANSWERED] Background monitoring of remote Indigo Server

I've been having problems over the past winter whereby internet connectivity is lost at the house where my Indigo server is running. When this happens, I'm not aware of it until I try connecting to turn up the heat before I arrive.

Is there a feature (or planned feature) in Indigo Touch that runs in the background and can notify me when it cannot reach the server either by popup, email and/or text message?

Re: Background monitoring of remote Indigo Server

I'll add this one to the Indigo Touch feature request list. Thanks for the feedback.

With the winter approaching up here in the Adirondacks, is there a chance this feature will make it into an Indigo Touch release in the near future?

We are still working on the next major release of Indigo Touch, and have not yet determined the exact feature set that will be included.

Have you seen Uptime Robot (https://uptimerobot.com)? You can monitor web pages, servers and specific ports remotely for free. It will send email or SMS alerts.
