Did you pick the "standard" Shelly Plus US model? I believe all the underlying functionality would be the same, but the UK and EU models have special "UI" components that the US does not have.

Sorry, I meant when picking the model when setting the device up with the plugin. Did you set it up as a Shelly Plus Plug US/IT?

Took a little while to see how to tell, in Define and Sync but yes, it’s setup as US/IT device. I don’t recall doing that or seeing an option.
Happy with how it’s working so far.

Have anybody tested any of the Shelly blu sensors ?

If I understand it right you should be able to connect them with the ahellyNg.

I released version 1.1.0 and it now supports the Pro 4PM (thanks berkinet), the 1/1PM mini devices, and the Plus S and Plug UK.

I didn't add support for the UI component of the S and UK plugs, but I can if that is desired.

I haven't seen any documentation on how the BLU sensors will work. I know they pair to a Shelly device, so it might be possible to create a Shelly script that relays the information over MQTT. The plugin would need some additional support for that though. The plugin is able to control the contents of a script, so if BLU sensors are desired, then its possible the plugin could maintain a Shelly script that relays the BLU device information over MQTT back to the plugin in a format it expects.

I have 2 configured in Indigo via the Home Assistant Agent plugin. I've just played about with them in my office. They are connecting directly with the rPi. I would hope to connect them to a Shelly Plus device and have them communicate directly with Indigo at some time in the future..... :)

Hi Aaron,
I've added a few more Shelly devices to my test setup. These are:
Shelly Plus 1PM Mini
Shelly Plus PM Mini
Shelly 1PM Mini Gen 3
It would be great to have these fully supported by your plugin. Please reach out if I can help with testing.

Comment on the Shelly blue beacons:
The battery life is very bad. About 2 weeks.
The issue is mechanical. The battery is loose in the device and hence the device restarts frequently and that drains the battery.
There is a trick to rectify this: put a piece of tape under the connector to make it have a stable contact to the battery.

Karl

Ps the Shelly blu devices are fully supported in pibeacon.
