using https breaks indigotouch urls?

Post by dtich »

hi all. ?: touch is no longer finding the server after upgrading and enabling https. the urls work fine from browser afaict, but touch.app won't connect over wan anymore. works with localnet url fine.
i do have portforwarding in a firewall config, from wan indigo server is 8010 which translates to 8000 locally. would this affect the touch app, it has worked forever using this wan port, nothing changed. is there a config i need to do in touch? or.. i missed something.

i am on 3.0.0 touch.app. no updates avail.

thanks for any pointers.

and thanks for https!

Hi Dylan!

Sounds like you have a manually added server entry in Indigo Touch that is old and thus doesn't specify to use HTTPS. Try adding a new one (can delete the old one, but it would still be needed if you ever disable the HTTPS option in Indigo) that includes "https://" before the IP address and port number and it should work.
