Did something change with the Indigo Touch App

Post by norcoscia »

Yesterday, I noticed the Touch IOS Indigo app had a message that said it required Ver 14 of the apple system to work. Did you guys update something? If so, please let the user community know (or let me know if I have something wrong…. :?: )

Also, when someone starts a new topic why not have the system auto subscribe them to the post… Or did that just change too.

We should have posted on the forum, but are in the process of (soon) rolling out Indigo 2024.1. It requires the new Indigo Touch for compatibility with one of its features (older versions of Indigo Touch will still work with it, but only if a new feature isn't used).

Regarding requiring iOS 14 – it is nearly impossible to release newer versions of iOS software using Apple's development environment/platform that run on really old versions of the iOS. In this case iOS 14 (released over 4 years ago) is the furthest back we could go. If you have an older iOS device that cannot run iOS 14 that had Indigo Touch installed, then you should still have access to the older version.

Thanks, BTW, indigo Touch is much, much faster now.

Hopefully at some point you guys will allow a server action to change a control page. This is a really important change which would make Indigo Touch greatly improved and more useful.
