JLR is a new addition to the store which allows monitoring of Jaguar and Land Rover plugin hybrid vehicles.

Cool! Can you also provide a Jaguar for trying it with?

I’ll just grab an older example model.. the plugin will work with a 89 XJ6 right? I’ll test it out just as soon as I’ve fixed this oil leak.. and this one.. and fixed the rust.. and the electrics.. And the rust.. and the oil leak..

hi I'm attempting to use your plugin but have a few questions.
1. Is it only for hybrid vehicles?
2. I'm getting this error on plugin launch, before even being able to configure:

Code: Select all

JaguarLandRover Error Error in plugin execution startup:

File "plugin.py", line 53, in startup
File "plugin.py", line 113, in createDevices
  File "/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 2023.2/Plugins/JLR.IndigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/jlrpy.py", line 80, in __init__

Any idea what's going on?

I’m afraid JLR have removed third party access to their API, so until a workaround is found the plugin will not work.
