piBeacon Setup

Post by Sofabutt »

Hello. Can someone help me setup piBeacon? I have been working on it for over a week now. I have read the material on it, but can't get it to recognize any beacons.

I re-installed the OS, and the piBeacon files and folders are uploaded to the raspberry pi as soon as I add the device to the plugin, but that's as far as I can get. I must have some setting wrong somewhere. I have changed the port and various other settings and nothing has worked.

To summarize

No firewall on your mac.
Or open ping socket and the socket you define in config for the rpis to connect to the mac

I shall add that to the online help
