Trying to add Kwikset 916 to Indigo, but get stuck on the following message:
controller included module: 030 - Keypad Door Lock
Z-Wave querying module for encryption support
Z-Wave starting encryption key exchange with module
The entire Z-wave network is locked with the message "Setting security encryption key," the only way to stop it is to reset the Z-wave interface.
I have removed and added it three times. Same result.
Any suggestions?
JP

Turn on Z-Wave debugging and attempt the inclusion again. Then when it fails copy/paste the event log lines for the entire attempt into an email to support@indigodomo.com.

Also, is this lock replacing one that was already there? I'm wondering if perhaps there's a range issue.

Range was my first thought. However, I took it from the door, and I am trying to include it next to the Indigo server.
Sent the email.
Thank you!

Before trying to include it again, do an exclude just to be sure.

Thank you for the suggestion, but excluded it several times. Reset to factory default also. I have four other locks, so not the first time going through the process.
Again, it includes. Just not exchanging the encryption keys. A little different problem.

Re: Kwikset 916 (99160-017)
I've looked at the Event Log you sent us and it looks like a range problem (even though I now you removed it to bring it next to your Mac). It is possible I'm looking at the wrong place in the Event Log though.
Regardless, try factory resetting it and re-including it with encryption again. Sometimes it can just take several times to work. Also try fresh batteries if you haven't.
I noticed you also have a lot of Z-Wave traffic coming from modules broadcasting energy/meter levels. You might look at changing the settings on those modules (per their manual) to reduce how frequently they are sending out commands.

This is what I did:
Z-Wave controller included module: 036 - Keypad Door Lock
Z-Wave querying module for encryption support
Z-Wave starting encryption key exchange with module
Not sure what else to try from my side...

- -Set all energy reporting to 7200 for most, 3600 for a few (I track energy usage closely due to using Solar and Batteries)
- New batteries in the lock
- Reset the lock to the factory default
- Lock within 3 feet of the Indito server and the Z-Wave controller (UBZ with the latest firmware)
- Reboot Indot and the Mac Mini (M1 2020 with NOTHING else on the machine)
- Tried to include it again

Z-Wave querying module for encryption support
Z-Wave starting encryption key exchange with module
